My deck is 13'X9' attached to my condo. Can you give me ideas how to decorate it?

I do have a round picnic table set and also a barbeque on the deck which doesn't leave much room so any pictures of suggestions?

I have a similar sized deck. My deck is very low to the ground so I built a small pad about 5 x 6 to put the grill on to get it away from the seating area or you could move the picnic table off the deck. So if you have any additional are I would suggest as a start. If you don't have the area. I would think about getting a rectangle table so it could be pushed against the side of the deck out of the way. Another option is build bench seating along one long side of the deck and make or buy cushions to sit on, and don't forget a few outdoor throw pillows. If you did something like this you could do away with the table and get cute nesting tables or buy some mismatched small end tables from Craigs list. Everyone could have their own little table. You could chalk paint them to match
  • How about a fire table and furniture around it. This is a great way to use the area for casual dining and at nighttime for entertaining.

@Terri Camilleri-Ritza could you post a pic of the area, might produce more pertinent feedback. Is it covered? If not you could put up a small Gazebo - Walmart has one in the camping section for about $100 - easy to erect and it is very water resistant so you can sit outside in a rain, you have to take it down for the winter, but is compact and comes with a carry case. If you put something like this up, you can string some light cotton panels on one or two sides to add som whimsy. Place a couple of cosy chairs and/or a love seat meant for the outdoors. Also add lots of pots with plants of varying heights or bring your indoor plants out for the summer. The trend for decks, patios etc. these days is to bring the indoors out. Thanks for posting and do post before and after pics of what you do I'd love to see it.
