First of all, I'm a renter. I have concrete block walls that I am not allowed to make holes.

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Apr 04, 2013you can drill into the joints between the block wall and insert a plastic anchor and screw. When its time to move simply remove the screw, pull out the plug and mix a tiny amount of cement and plug then paint touch up the patch. No one would ever know you did this. What you do not want to do is to drill into the block itself as any patch would stand out quickly. You only need a 1/4 inch masonry bit to do the job. What I would assume that the landlord does not want to see is larger holes that often are the result of using wing type anchors that need to be placed into the block itself to work.Helpful Reply

Sarah T on Apr 05, 2013Better yet, do what we did. hang from the ceiling with plant hooks or eyebolts (make sure they are strong enough), up against the wall in the corner between the wall and cieling, and run wires down to the mirror. we used a little double sided tape at the bottom to keep it from swinging. Its an old fashioned way to hang pictures. I've seen it with decorative chain, or wire and ribbon. Just depends on your styleHelpful Reply
