Best way to clean up lumber that's been stored for a while?

KMS Woodworks on Jan 13, 2012As long as the framing material is not warped or twisted you can use it as it is. Quick, inexpensive fix to correct weathered,splintering wood on deck
My wooden deck is older, and the wood has started to darken and splinter. Outside of replacing the wood, is there anything I can do for a quick and inexpensive fix?
