360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on May 08, 2013Hi Terri, if possible to do so, I would wait until fall to transplant especially if you are moving azaleas to a sunnier location. It will be stressful (root pruning) and shocking (moving from shade to sun). to the plants. The more stressors you add, the less likely your plants are going to survive the transplant. If it is a matter of move them or lose them, then just move them as you don't have much to lose.Helpful Reply
