Cheap security for screen door

Cynthia H on Mar 07, 2016There's heavier screen material that we used when our dog kept ripping our back door screen. It was a little tricky to install, because it's stiffer and thicker than the original screen, but, it worked. I found a roll of it at Walmart in the hardware section a couple of years back. All you can do is add deterrent, because if someone really wants in, they will smash or cut their way in. Just make it harder for them and it may help. A keyed deadbolt would certainly frustrate someone.Helpful Reply
