Lawn Mowers??? what do you suggest??
My mower is a Toro, in it's senior year of life, I have been thinking of buying a new mower what mower for Bermuda grass do any of you pro's recommend??? What is a good price for the one's that you recommend??? It has to be self-propelled. I have a good size yard @3/4 acer!!! Myself being a woman of strength I still need something easy to start, easy to use, relieable. I turn into Lawn Mower Woman the days I have to do the lawn. I Look forward to your recommendations!!! Thanks, Have a beautiful day Shirley

Sherrie S on Mar 29, 2012Shirley, I have a list of things I wanted and got. The product is called Lawn Boy. #1 - A local compay sold it & also maintains it. After 4 years I never needed anything fixed and then found another local company that maintains it. The fix was cheap without going to the company that sold it. #2 - it does the zero turn which lets you cut close to rounded beds. I have many rounded beds & this mower is great. #3- I have about 2+ acres & lawnboy does all of them. A lot of the mowing is near the lake (the worst place) and Lawnboy does it perfectly. Lawnboy is so good I named him Greenie.Helpful Reply

Cultivators Design and Landscape on Mar 29, 2012Shirley, Exmark is a good lawn mower but they can be pricey. The Honda brands at Home Depot are pretty good as well and I think you can get both types with a self propel option as well.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on Mar 30, 2012Shirley, I am about 20 miles from Daytona. Yes, lawnboy is Green & really pretty. Greenie is a little over 5 years old and has been problem free except for the carburetor which had to be cleaned. Also Greenie has an electric start - that is a requirement for me.Helpful Reply
