need advice on STAR GAZER LILY -- mine are about 5 inches high and I need to know "if/when" are they to be pinched back?

Douglas Hunt on Mar 31, 2012Actually, Pat, pinching them back would be a very good way to ensure you don't get a a single bloom from your Stargazer. Bulb-type plants, of which lilies are one, do not respond in this manner. You will end up having no blooms whatsoever if stems are pinched or topped.Helpful Reply
