How do repurpose 2 old chests into storage chests how

they are 2 chests that currently are not useful as they are. The drawers are in very bad shape would cost more to fix them. They may not be salvageable but I hope so

I've seen a some ideas for not using the drawers that are damaged and creating a shelf instead. If some of the drawers are in good shape, you could use those as well. Lots of possibilities. Pictures would be helpful!

I recently moved into an apartment and like most apartment kitchens there is not a lot of cabinet space or counter space for that matter. Well long story short I have converted an old 6 drawer chest into a "pantry" storing boxed foods and such also set the microwave on top of it so I now have a microwave cart as well.
