CAN I TRANSFER TULIPS FROM POT TO THE GARDENING?
-
Erica Glasener on Apr 30, 2012Cindy, Not sure where you live but yes I would say you could transplant your tulips to the garden, ease the whole root ball out of the pot and dig a hole that is the same depth as the pot the bulbs are in, not deeper. Transplant and water. Let the foliage turn yellow and begin to wither before you cut it off. With any luck you will have tulips next year, but they do need a winter chill to set flower buds.Helpful Reply
