Seeking recommendations for an electric nail gun.

KMS Woodworks on Jun 12, 2013Most finish nail guns are Pneumatic...which means they are connected to an air compressor. Stand alone guns can be found that have small compressors built in or use a fuel cell. Both of those types are bigger and heavier, but hose free. personally I would recommend an 18 ga gun. The next step up would be a 16 ga. I have one of each. My 18 is a Dewalt and my 16 is a Porter Cable. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HQ8W3O/?tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=14420418564&hvpos=1t3&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1338186151495465129&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_pixfxp6op_bHelpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jun 12, 2013You can purchase electrical nail guns now that will do that for you. They are used to drive nails into cement and steel! Porta Cable makes excellent guns that would fit the bill, However they are expensive. And if you are going to spend all that money, you are better off buying a small compressor kit with the nail gun included. Many of the larger home centers sell these at a pretty good price. Plus you get a compressor out of it that can be used for many other projects where air is needed.Helpful Reply
