Juliebd on May 20, 2016Yes sweet potato vine. When we lived at a home that had a pool I hung planter boxes from the top edge of the pool screen. Deltamom on May 20, 2016potato vine. generally an annual vine altho sometimes it will come back if it makes a tuber (thickened root). i have had them come back no matter the color of the leaf. there are several varieties. margarite-bright green leaf and blackie-dark leaf. there is a green and white variety and a rusty coral leaf. and probably several more varieties.Helpful Reply
