Evaniderstine2hotmail.com on Jul 10, 2013the first plant looks like Purslane. It is extremely invasive. It is edible and high in many nutrients making it a healthy plant to eat, but if you cook it it has a slimy texture like okra. If you want to get rid if it, use vinegar or roundup on it before you pull it out as the smallest amount of root left will regrow. If you put on rubber gloves and put cotton gloves over them you can dip your hands into the roundup and wipe it on the plants you want to remove without affecting other plants around the offending ones.Helpful Reply

Michelle Eliker on Jul 10, 2013Take a picture of the flowers for us. Plants are identified mostly by the flower not the leaves so it would really help to see the floweropen and up close.Helpful Reply

Linda Hopper on Jul 10, 2013Your welcome, Melissa. The only problem I have with it is that the birds like it as much as I do! I've never planted it in the ground...only in pots. Like Tracey T mentioned it makes a beautiful hanging pot.Helpful Reply
