What to do with this large shade?

Michelle Leslie on Jul 03, 2016I'm not sure from the picture how durable it is but perhaps you could stencil a pattern onto the shade and use it as an outdoor mat on your patio. It would also look really nice as wall art.Helpful Reply

Bink on Jul 03, 2016Maybe it was used as a shade to keep on your garage to have a party, etc. to keep lowering as the sun sets.Helpful Reply

Valerie on Jul 03, 2016It looks like a blind for a window. Alternatively you could use it as one. Hang it in the same way that you would hang a Roman blind so as to lift it up and down. You might even find that it fits perfectly into a particular window. Use some spray paint and stencils to give it a touch of glamour.Helpful Reply

Trudy Connor on Jul 03, 2016Stencil a design and hang on the patio ceiling. The texture will help cut echos while entertaining, and bring interest to the 5th wall.Helpful Reply

Nancy Flemming on Jul 03, 2016We are going to use a blind like this for roll up privacy/sun screen on pergola. Also thought of painting a design on it. I'm not a free hand painter, but a stencil would be perfect.Helpful Reply

A. Ballard on Jul 03, 2016I have two of these. In the process of working on now..... Painting, free hand stenciling and gluing on some of those glass discs from dollar tree, and hanging from ceiling on porch. Stringing white Christmas lights in rafters above the blind for ambiant lighting. Will be hanging it so it swags slightly between the rafters.Helpful Reply
