Not sure which part of the chair you're wishing to fix but I'd start here with these repair videos on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=repair+patio+sling+chairs Hope this helps!

We removed old webbing and used new webbing installed w/sheet metal screws . They have held up well and are stronger than originally.

I have actually done this, and it was very easy. The fabric on my sling chairs just slipped through a slat, and then you put the wooden piece through the hem on the fabric. I ordered the outdoor fabric online at a reasonable cost., and then all I had to do was sew the folds for the slats to go through.

Just so you know I just did a search on sling chair replacement parts and there are other sites. Suggest you check them out and find one you like best. The first one does not give you a price, but looking around, it may be cheaper to just get new ones when they go on sale depending on how much you paid for them. Check out all your alternatives. It's a shame if the replacements cost more than what the chair cost. Here is another site: http://www.patiofurniturerehab.com/

HI Denise I have done exactly the same as Donna above and it is fairly straightforward. I used a strong canvas deck chair fabric which is very hard wearing and comes in widths suitable for sling chairs. The fabric choice is fairly limited, however I used a neutral blue to recover then made slip covers with a flap top and bottom and ties on the side. They looked pretty good and best thing was that you can take them off and just sling in the washing machine if they get marked, very easy and very cost effective, good luck.

I found a youtube video to show details on labor. I ordered 3 yards of sunbrella fabric from Ebay along with the thread that they suggested and needles for sewing leather. For about $60 I re-did 2 full length lounge chairs and have enough material to fix my husband's portable director's chair(when I figure out how to sew it).
