1960's bathroom help

My bathroom has 1960's square white tiles that are in great shape. All the cabinets are a dark solid wood. What color would you recommend I paint the cabinets to update the bathroom?

it really depends on the look you are going for and the style of the house. white tiles are neutral so you can be bold and go for some drama. Consider a darker color. If there is a dark color in the counter top or some favorite accent towels use that for inspiration. If you want to create a clean open look consider using "Swiss Coffee" by Behr paints. It seems to go with anything.

I would go to the Home Improvement stores and see what colors you like. Everybody has different taste and preferences. Once you decide on the cabinet color then you decide on the wall color and accessories.

I would paint the dark wood and stick some transfer on the tiles , you can stick plain transfers or patterned ones and you don't have to cover all the tiles, you can decide what ones you want to cover, make sure ou plan it all first,

The walls are painted a "ice blue" do you have a suggestion on a color for the cabinets?

I would keep the white tile and work with them. Do you have a window in your bathroom for light? If your trying to brighten up the bathroom I would paint the cabinets white and add some shiplap to the walls for texture. bathrooms can have lots of moisture so remember to use the right paint for a bathroom:)

Here's a couple of ideas, depends on your preferences: 1) Modern approach- light slate blue. 2) Traditional approach- warm Tuscan golden brown. 3) Neutral approach- light bisque canvas and pops of vivid teal in the accessories
