Cleaning a cloudy vase
I wash it out with vinegar and hot soapy water but after some time it appears cloudy again. Does anyone know why?

Dee on Sep 18, 2016Filling a cloudy vase with cold water with bleach added and leaving it to soak for a few hours then washing and rinsing as normal in hot water will work wonders. This was a tip given to me more than 50 years ago by the owner of an antique shop. If you are cleaning a bottle or narrow necked vase, before you empty out the bleach water add 1 tablespoonful of rice and shake vigorously before proceeding as above.Helpful Reply

Lori on Sep 18, 2016I understand you can clean it, you want to know what might be causing it and how you can prevent it, right? Are any other things in that cabinet getting the film on them?Helpful Reply
