The Natural Drain Cleaner for Your Clogged Drain
White vinegar and baking soda and Hot Water.
I use a product from Home Depot (where I work) called Green Gobbler. It is non caustic and designed not to put any poison into the environment.
I have used Drano for years and it has always done the trick! Hope you find a solution soon, it is so frustrating when my drain gets clogged.
Beware! Frequent Draino use in older plumbing results in this! I had the flooded kitchen to go with it thanks to the previous owners!
I always use the baking soda-vinegar trick , works really well!

The Easy Way To Unclog Your Drains
I have had a clogged kitchen pipe recently. Tried the baking soda, vinegar followed by the boiling water. It would work for a day, then be clogged again. We finally gave up and called our neighbor who is a plumber that has helped us before when we came across a problem with replacing shower/tub hardware. He snaked down to the main and cleared everything out. The pipe leading to the main is exposed in the basement and when he and my husband opened it before he snaked, the pipe was so clean you could eat off it. He was impressed! Now that I have my sink back I am going to use this to keep the pipe clean all the way down. He thinks it was from years of buildup( house is 62 years old) and it would open and eventually reclose, this time it would not reopen without the pros to help. Try the baking soda, vinegar and boiling water before anything that can get really expensive, you can always go from there. Won't hurt to try this and it won't hurt your pipes either.

Avoid Draino. I had washer and sink going through same pipe. Put some draino in it. Decided to check small clean out port just for that pipe and when I took off plug a solid chunk of draino washed out. I got Roto Rooter guy to snake out all the pipes and it worked great. City would not believe that tree roots had been working way into pipe even though tree was planted almost on top of the sewer line from house to main line. Big difference between flushing toilet and dumping 30 gallons of water out of washer. It has to go somewhere.
