You can buy a purse older. It holds about 6 or more purses. It is only about $10. Looks like a hanger, with extended plastic holders for holding each purse.
I'm big on clearing out what no longer serves me so I only have a few purses now. I nest them inside each other and put them all in the largest one or a tote bag then just hang it on a hook or hanger in the closet.
Chanel to the right, Gucci to the left.. :)
I believe in having a plastic container-such as from Sterilite-with an open top, can hold the purses & you can see inside what is in there. Just don't make it too heavy!
I hang mine on hooks by the straps/handles just inside the closet door,

I find that hanging them can kink the straps, if not careful -for me, a high shelf in my closet works well; I can see them lined up and they don't get dusty :)
