I think that is a matter of your preference.
personal preference, however I caution you on the motorized part. My sister spent 8 thousand dollars on motorized h.d. shades. nothing but problems. batteries constantly having to be changed and it takes a lot of double A's think 8 per unit. They go up or down half way and stop. Rep has been to her house multiple times, h.d of no help. Beware!
I think pleated shades allow more light into the room giving your living room a cozier, warmer atmosphere. But whatever you choose will be "you" so it'll be great
I prefer wooden blinds. I put these in my dining room. Really looks nice. Plan on doing my living room next. :)
Pleated shades
They look very nice... thanks!
Here's a great website that will give you ideas: https://www1.americanblinds.com
Depends on what look you are going for and your lifestyle. I have lots of pets, so I will not have anything I can't wash frequently. Plus it is dusty where I live and dusting blinds constantly is not my idea of fun times. 😎 Maybe something to consider?
Thanks for the input..
wood looks nice

Thank you for ur input.... Helpful .
