One benefit of rotary over electric for fabric is that it can take practice and dexterity (that not all of us have!) to get a straight line with electric...
It's harder to get a straight line with an electric cutter but with a little bit of practice you can get the hang of it. Personally I like the rotary cutter better, it just makes me feel like I have more control over what I am cutting.
I like to be in control of my cutting so I only use my my rotary cutter and regular
scissors.
I too use just my rotary cutter and Fiskar's scissors I bought me the heavy duty scissors that can cut through 5 layers of blue jean material....good scissor's ....
I'm on board with the rotary cutter and appropriate scissors for the material I'm using. The rotary cutter is so fast and accurate to use. It cut my preparation from pinning and cutting of patterns by greater than two-thirds...

Thanks to all of you for helping me with this decision. One more question! For the wheel blade, what is the difference between using a 45mm vs. 60mm (aside from size lol!) I'm a total newbie, the last craft I made was in HS art class 30 years ago!

Go rotary blade and I use Fiskar
Rotary blade more control and heavy duty to tiny shears scissors by Fiskar are a little bit more expensive but I have had mine for more than 20 years, they are in great shape just sharpen the blades every now and then
