Plant a morning glory or a vine like plant. Then maybe hang a bird feeder from it by screwing in a decorative hook.
I put a trumpet vine at base. It will wrap around pole and in a few years completely hind pole and bloom beautiful large looking trumpet flowers. Mine are orange. Everyone comments on the beauty.
Morning Glory vine works well too.
I grew up with them and they do not bother me. Just plant some sort of vine that grows quickly in your area.
