Do you have pair of tile nippers? I think you should draw template on paper, score the tile with a blade ( I have a glass scorer/cutter) and then use the tile nippers the help break away the pieces.
Make a card board template and then trace that onto the tile.
You can get a wire shaper(I call it). It is about 6 inches long and has many wires
through it. You push it up against something and it moves into shape. Then transfer it to the tile.
We used a rotary saw with a ceramic cutting bit when we tiled my sister's bathroom. We did a template & traced it onto the tile then just cut it out. We got ours on Amazon. It worked great! I was more comfortable using it than the wet saw!
