It's possible that they need some iron. The technical term is leaf chlorosis. There are multiple websites that can help you. I have bought iron sulfate and followed the directions on the package for diluting and feeding my plants/trees. I hope this helps. Hostas are very hardy.
Not sure where your hosta are planted. It could also be what is known as Hosta scorch. This happens from too much sun. Hosta grow best in rich soil that holds moisture. It could also be too much water. Without more info not sure but here is a website link about hosta care and common problems

there are many reasons this could be happening.Improper watering leading to a fungus,insects,improper lighting,root rot.I would closely examine for any the issues I stated.
