    Most likely weather related.

My crop was light this year, they were four years old (I'm in NY). I'm guessing it is weather related too. What I have read is they want their own dedicated bed, no weeds, no competing plants, very clean soil, and when you cut you should cut only one out of every third spear and leave the rest.

Seems like alot of garden problems this year!Too warm in March, too cold now and too much rain!Even the beans are taking forever to come up.
