Laminated floors are tricky because the coverings are very thin; your best bet would be to sweep, wet mop & let them dry. Check those 'spots' for additional clean up work...[depending upon what caused the spots]...remember to go easy on those areas. Then use a laminate floor liquid wax, it will take more than one be sure to let the applications dry thoroughly between coats.

I've done that the spots are from an ice cube melting, I know but, that's all we can think it was being that's in the area?!

No I have not but I used to work for home depot and was a manager of the garden center which included inside as well cleaning etc. So I met the rep of the company and it is suppose to be amazing. They have there own website should you want to research further.

Water marks...get a pint of stain that is 'slightly LIGHTER' than what your floor color is...carefully dab the stain into the CENTER of the area affected & gradually work towards the outer edges so that it blends in with the rest of the floor color; once it has dried...put a coat or two of liquid laminate floor wax over the top where you added the new stain. These floors are fussy when it comes to waxing, you can never go over an area & get it to blend seems that you have to re-do the whole floor without being interrupted or it looks blotchy! Whoever said laminate floors are easy...didn't know how GREAT the old wax & polish solid hardwood floors were!

Armstrong has a great concentrated product called Once and Done.
I bet this will help the issue. I had melted ice on my brand new laminate floor and this did the trick. I have a mop that has a sprayer bottle attached to it so I mixed the concentrate according to directions. It also has apleasant disappering smell
