How to clean the yellowing ½ in. contour on my kitchen cabinets doors

My cabinet doors in the kitchen are white melamine. The contour has yellowed. It really stands out now that I have painted the kitchen. This is a rental unit. Hence, the cheaper the solution, the better

Use white vinegar and a clean cloth, consistently rinsing the cloth .
Wear rubber gloves. Wet some paper towel with bleach. Apply them to the yellow areas and let them stay on for a while. Check every few minutes to see if the yellow has gone. May take a while.
I would try Awsome from the dollar store, dollar general or wallyworld, you can dilute it in water if needed. Try a small area that does not show to make sure it works, it's cleaned alot of things I thought were goners.
i would apply a towel saturated with bleach to lift the color. I would check periodically to see how it's working.
I would take a magic eraser to clean off the yellow gunk.
