Wisteria
I like Bougainvillea, but it has long thorns. Wisteria (native) is a good bet for a number of zones in Florida.
It does depend on your agricultural zone as we have a few in Florida. Also I'm assuming, since you need privacy, you'll want something that stays green through the winter. Check with your County Extension office as I'm sure they can make appropriate recommendations for your area.
