If it's not a threat to property or people, find out what kind of plants that thrive in your climate zone, and plant them on the hillside.
I have just a small steep slope and I planted lots of hosta, some larger shrubs, a few small trees, etc. It did help to keep soil from washing down.
I had a steep slope and I used car tyres to terrace it, like you would do with bricks.
but not sure of the laws in your country about using old car tyres. 😊
