use thin wire to cut the glue
get a wire longer than the glass and make a handle of sorts at each end then work it back and forth to cut the glue
I used a heat gun on my mirrors. The heat softens the glue and makes it easy to scrape off.
Any special kind of wire? What about fishing line?
I have found that mineral spirits work very well on any glue or gummy surface.
I think I am going to try this first!
