All of my Hens and Chickens just rotted away this past year. Help!

Sure dont know why this happened. I thought I had them built up high enough where this wouldn't happen. They had even put out a lot of babies. Any suggestions ?

    Hens and chicks will rot from to much moisture.

    Hummmm.. Mine are growing for the first time... Yep they either froze out or got way too wet... See if any of the roots are still viable, then really mound the ground then gently plant the root again.. it may come back.. Good Luck.

      Did you see the other comment about putting pebbles in a big hole and then dirt. I dont think there are any roots left but 1 did survive. Thanks for your help.

    Too much water. dig large hole, put in a layer of small pebbles then the dirt. plant your hens and chicks. I usually put more small rocks around on the top.

    Thanks, that sounds like a very good idea because they did rot.
