Does anyone know of a blooming plant that is deer resistant?

What growing zone are you in? And are you interested in flowering shrubs, annuals or perennials?

Lantana. Full sun

zone 7...would love anything that blooms and creates color....preferably red but would take any color

Pin Cushion are great ... deer will not eat them. They come in only 2 colors that I've found. Purple and Red (not vibrant red, but still reddish). Plant them about 8" apart (or you can plant tighter together)... I think they look better spread apart. I live in the lowcountry and they thrive even with the heat and very little water!

crape mytrle, cardinal flower, Dianthus, Dahlia, Red Spiraea, red hot poker, and poppies are a few.

There's a great list of annuals, perennials and flowering shrubs that are deer resistant in your zone. Even here in PA , I've had good luck with most of the flowers listed, and a few of the shrubs. The deer haven't bothered my pieris, or a really pretty shrub called beautyberry. Good luck!
