Your dog is one determined guy. There are several things I can think of:
1. Is a shock-collar that you find well reviewed and is under a decent warranty.
The downside of this is if your dog is determined, spending money on shock collars probably won't deter him.
2. Call a local trainer and find out options for training specifically for this issue.
Try to find a trainer you can get recommendations for through friends or
neighbors.
3. If the fence is already in place, research electrifying the fence. We have horses nearby with such a fence and some systems I believe you can choose how much voltage to can use. e.g. start small and work up. Talk to your vet before using any electric shock system. I have been shocked several times with different systems and for a medium sized person, it is uncomfortable but not really painful. much. You might need to add height to fence if your dog is clearing the top.
4. There are many different runs for dogs that can be secured into ground. You
decide how long a leash/run you need. Probably the least expensive option.
I used angle irons on the poles (from farm supply store) with smooth wire and plastic ribbons tied on them.
My suggestion: is to purchase angled pieces of pipe that will fit into the pipe of your fence...angle the pipe INTO YOUR YARD...then across the top of that angled pipe lay a section of wire & fasten it to the angled pipe. This should create a 'roof type' look...that is: it hangs over into your yard & when the dog tries to clear the fence, it is met with another 'fence' & is knocked back to the ground. Your dog will get the message loud & clear!
There are sleeves you can buy that go over existing posts for chainlink fencing. This will give you additional height that you can use to add height to your existing fence. This is probably the cheapest and easiest way
You are an enabler. Train the dog. One solid punch to the noise will cure this pooch. When you are relaxing watching TV, call the dog. Show him your fist and say"remember this" when he starts slithering away you know he got your message.
