What is the best way to landscape in sand?

My area is all sand, no clay, so I have great drainage. I live in central Wisconsin.

    Check with your local garden shops they should be able to assist you with good plants for your zone.

    You probably need some soil amendment, work in compost, etc. Get your soil tested, then work in what you need. If the whole area is too big, pick a spot and start there--one side of the yard, on the side of the house, etc. You don't have to do it all at once!
