My question as I watched these grandparents was always, "Why are you sweeping your yards, and why is there no grass around your house?" We have grass around ours.
Power washing should remove it. You could also use deck wash. Read the label before use and follow instructions.
There are concrete stain removers available at Home Improvement stores for you situation.
Carefully power wash then there is a product called Wet & Forget that might help with mildew. Put polomeric sand in the seams it helps to keep the weeds from growing.
Power wash should take care of it. I do it to my weathered concrete patio and it looks like brand new.
Try this on a small area.......a mixture of vinegar, baking soda and Dawn (1cup, 2 tbsp, a few drops) applied with a scrub brush. This will not hurt the concrete or stone and should remove the stain. And you don't have to rent a power washer. Just hose off the patio and you're good to go!
I usually just clean it with a solution of professional strength bleach and water. Spray it on dampened bricks, let it sit for 5 minutes, scrub the surface with a stiff broom or brush than rinse with water. I have also used granulated OxiClean mixed with warm water and used the scrub brush. Both are quite inexpensive and have worked well for me (I live in Florida and also have mold on the bricks after a warm, wet summer).
Turn them over, unless they are grouted in. Most are just lying on the ground with dirt in between.
You could mix 1 part Tide detergent with 5 parts water and use with a power washer. It worked on my siding. 😁
Power wash...yours is not that bad, you won't need any solutions/chemicals...I live in Florida and have to do my pavers several times a year...make sure you weat sunglasses, as things can shoot up!
I have used the Olympic deck cleaner with good results. However, a solution of bleach and water should work too.
We use bleach and a power washer.
A lady named Janet, above, mentioned the concrete paver cleaner they sell at Home Depot......I've read it on here......I would ask around or look on the reviews on line and see the results. I always use bleach and water.......
Power washing , BUT you may have to put fresh silver sand down in between the papers.
Did you powerwash?
