believe it or not ice cubes will lift most furniture dimples from carpet so I would try that first....if not,rent a rug doctor and pass over them several times....the suction may pull them out....those who don't understand-----the plastic runners you buy have little carpet grippers on the back...walking on the runner pushes the tips into the carpet to keep the runner in place. when you lift the runner up, there are a villion little holes in the carpet and they are the devil to get out
Just buy a carpet divot remover! :) Really though, ice cubes do work, and you could also try a misting of the areas with some hot water, so that is drys quicker.
