What a yummy thing to grow :)
Keep in mind that in the summer months your blackberries are going to appreciate about an inch of water a week. If it's really hot/dry, water more frequently. In the cooler months, they only need 1/2 water a week. A 10-10-10 fertilizer will also keep them happy when applied in the spring before the first growth. A heavy mulch will help control weeds around your bush that are trying to choke out nutrients from your berries.
Good luck!
Make sure to give them lots of water if it's hot out!
