Pink Bathroom in Rented Apartment. What to Do?
This is my pink bathroom. The apartment is a rental, so I can't retile. What can I do to hide it or change its color?
Go vertical. I have a very small bathroom also that I share with my daughter what I have done is added tall shelving and also a shelf all around the ceiling line for additional storage and decorating.
Contact paper works great for covering countertops, cabinets, etc. can be easily removed without any damage when u move. Same with washi tape or even applying fabric to the walls with liquid starch. All temporary & removable without damage. I've lived in about 25 rentals & have done amazing changes with various products! Good luck!
My small guest batheism is so white and boring that I have accessorized several times. Two years ago, I found some plastic appliqués in children's style of jungle animals. The elephant is four inches tall. I lined some up on the square mirror. I put a couple on the side of a tiny shelf unit. And I put a giraffe on the top of the toilet lid, and a monkey on the inside of the lid. My guests get a giggle and I like it. Around the house, I realized I had a 23" tall plastic giraffe, some travel magazines with African animals on the covers, a rain forest calendar, and some handmade jungle print shower curtains I had had for years. My suggest: find a color or theme that makes you happy and bring it into the bathroom. Why not "enjoy the go". Best wishes!
