Wiremold by Legrand makes an awesome chord and cable kits that will easily organize and hide all your wires.
Depending on where the TV and cable box is located you can try hiding the wires behind some kind of wall molding or maybe behind some well placed books or plants
In the family room, I have a wicker basket measuring 24"x10"x10". All my cables, extension cords, transistors, etc. sit inside this basket. In my bedroom, I have taken a hat box, cut a hole large enough to accommodate the in/out cables/cords.
I made a hole in the wall behind the T.V., which will never be seen as the T.V. sits in front of it. I also made a hole behind the T.V. unit I have so it wont be seen either. Ran the wires inside the wall. I bundled the wires from the box and used a command hook behind the T.V. unit so you could not see them from the front.
