What kind of fabric did it get on? Some acetone should remove it easily.

I got it out of a nylon parka by treating it with Dawn then washing in warm water. All of it came out saved from having to buy new coat.

I had a bottle of red nail polish crack open and land on pale blue wall to wall carpeting that was only installed five days beforehand! I immediately started dabbing nail polish remover on it; using old but clean white t-shirt material. It took quite a bit of remover and elbow grease but it worked except for a very faint mark that is barely noticeable. You didn't say if it was dried or fresh nail polish, though, so I'm not sure if remover will work but I'd give it a try.

oh, I forgot to say that you try the regular acetone nail polish remover and not the acetone-free type.
