I made my bed taller (giving me extra storage space) by putting inserts on the bottom that raise it up.
you can mount a couple 2x4''s a bit higher than where the rails are .
Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and ask for table legs. You'll find a wide variety that you can can screw in as is, or cut down to the size you need.
Bun feet that screw in would raise it a bit
