Painting is such a personal opinion. If you love the aqua accent can be brought in without the standard peach.Take the color swatch to the paint store and go back and forth with different colors you think will blend.Once you think it is the right choice by a sample can and test the two together on a sheet of paint paper that is now available to purchase. Don't worry about the accessories until you have completed your task, there are so many ways to tie colors together.
You can always visit a fabric store and look at all the combinations using Aqua. I think chocolate brown looks good with Aqua but that might not be your taste
Aqua does not have to equal beach. When you paint your walls, paint a swatch on a piece of cardboard you can carry with you to pick out your bedding and other accent colors.
I would use both grey's and whites
Your choice. But it would really pop the aqua. Have fun!
I think looking at some pictures of different aqua rooms online might help. You can 'see' the different choices and what goes, and then find one you think meets your taste and style. Here is a link to get you started, not all bedrooms, but gives color ideas:

I love aquas, blues and greens and pale turquoise, but not in a beach theme. I like white as an accent to keep it bright and crisp.
I, to love aqua and also just painted two walls of my master bedroom with it and then choose a medium shade of grey for the other two walls. Looks great, so I did my bathroom to match also. Then I took a popsicle stick and painted the colors on each end, let it dry and took it to Walmart, where I found a perfect comforter and pillow set to match.
I think coral or orange is absolutely beautiful with aqua And Splashes of green will pop with those colors.
Coral is right along with aqua as one of my favorite colors!! Never thought about putting them together! Would you use the coral for accents or an accent wall color. What shade of green would you recommend? I only have sight in one eye and my view of color is sometimes distorted. Most of the time I tell my husband what I've heard about or visualize and he helps me choose colors. Thank you!
Think about aqua, olive, melon and white
I used a very bright shade of aqua, more of a peacock color with the medium grey. Hope this helps, don't be afraid to use bright colors.
Your welcome Judy, have fun creating your beautiful aqua room
