What kind of garden are you trying to grow? Ornamental, edimental, veggie-orchard?
Many things are somewhat deer resistant and some practices can deter deer, but it's "resistant" and "deter" - if your deer population is too high, they'll eat darn near anything, especially if it's still early spring (starvation period) in your neck of the woods.
Knowing what you're trying to grow can help us make suggestions, both for plants they're less likely to munch and-or for things you might consider doing.
You might also want to let us know if you have any small children or pets that could be affected.
Cheers!
