Apply food grade diatomeous earth in the soil and spray the plants down with horticultural oil
You can also use a mild dish soap and water solutio to spray your plants with. I've hot pepper sauce and water spray.
If you plant some flowers that deter bugs such as marigold, the scent will keep many bugs away and also attract pollinators for your veggies. I've attached a picture, the marigolds look quite attractive too.
