Have you tried hydrogen peroxide? Test first in a hidden area for colorfastness. Spray the hydrogen peroxide on a white cloth and dab the stain. If it's going to work, you should see some of the blood transfer to the cloth. Good luck
You'll need an enzymatic cleaner, such as the ones used for pet accidents. Be sure the cleaner states specifically states enzymatic.
I use hydrogen peroxide to get blood stains out of many things; carpet, clothing, towels, etc. It will usually "boil" even if the stain is old. Just keep repeating and blotting. Should do the trick!
