Fels Naptha laundry bar. Use a small soft brush, like for fingernails. Scrub the spots, let sit for several hours, then rewash in the washer.
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. Soak the fabric stain part with the peroxide & let it sit for 1 hour. Run the stained part under under the faucet using only cold water while rubbing it with your fingers. If it all doesn't come out the 1st time, repeat until it does. Then, wash & dry it normally after the stain is completely gone. Hope this helps. :)
I use peroxide.

Worked in a medical lab for 20 years where blood stains are an everyday occurrence. If the stain is small enough, you can get a basin or bucket of saline (1 tsp salt per 1 quart of water) and soak it out. Immerse the part of the comforter with the stain on it, soak and agitate it for a while to get the blood loose without disrupting the red blood cells. Then, if there is stain left, try the peroxide. Using anything except saline first causes the cells to lyse (burst) and release the hemoglobin inside them. That makes the stain worse. I keep saline in a quart jar in the laundry room for bloodstains.
Wet the area and apply salt.
Peroxide. just apply it heavily to the spot, it will bubble up breaking down the blood, then wash as usual. May take a couple of times, but it will get it out.
