How do I remove cooking oil stain from clothes? It's on stretch denim jeans that have gone through the washer and dryer already?
try putting a rag on the jean and then putting a hot iron on them
I would think soaking it for a while in just some water would make it soften and peel off.
Goof Off or WD40. I think the heat from the iron may set the glue into the fibers.
Try either Goof Off or Goo Gone. Nail polish remover may work but don/t know if it may affect the color.
what kind of glue? whatever solution you try, I would suggest trying it on a scrap piece of denim first. If the hot iron didn't work, try freezing the denim and scraping or brushing it off.
happy to help
Try putting the denim in the freezer for a few days and see if some can be scraped off. Have you tried nail polish remover? dab some on an inside pocket or hem where it won't show if it affects the color. Maybe you have a scrap piece of old denim around as a test piece. If the nail polish remover doesn't destroy the scrap denim, be sure you buy the nail polish remover that has acetone in it. Some of the removers these days do NOT contain acetone so read the labels.
