How do I remove silk screen lettering from back of a denim jacket?

You could try this:

1. Take the fabric item you have silk screened and run it through a cold wash in the washing machine. ...

3. Put the item into the dryer and run it on the highest setting. ...
4. Peel away as much of the paint as you can. ...
5. Wash and dry the fabric again.

I think the Hometalkers who've suggested putting something over it are on the right track. Most inks used for silk-screen at least partially penetrate the fabric, so it is nearly impossible to remove them completely. Covering the silk-screened area with something else is far more likely to be successful.

I think whatever you use to remove it will still leave a trace. Try putting something over it.
