Paint them. Scatter a thin layer of sand in the wet paint. I did this and it works well.
Or you can buy paint that is textured similarly.
You can put some tract ionized runners, or when you paint them mix in some sand for some traction.
You can paint them but put sand in tour paint to give them a gritty feel and it helps keep it from being so slippery. Did this on my front porch and it worked!
There is a product you can find at the boat store. It's a tape with a grit which will stop the skidding! They will also have paint which will work.
mix sand into a stain that you may want and paint it on
I did the same but I added the sand to my paint befor I painted them.
Get the paint that has sand mixed in it. When applied it creates a less slippery area.
I used some left over shingles from my roof. Just cut them to fit and nail or staple them down.
You can buy stair treads at home improvement stores just for this purpose!
You can buy paint with the grit already in it, (Lowes, Walmart) I think its for concrete basements, etc. Not that expensive.
Surestep paint works great for slippery walking surfaces. I believe Home Depot still sells it.
