Paint 3 jars, one white, one red, and one blue. Put self sticking stars on the jars (available at Michaels) and then put some red, white and blue flowers in the jars. You might want to basecoat the jars first with white gesso, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Have tons of ideas.
Get out your paper and twine or cloth and twine and make a banner.
Fill some old jars or mason jars with a little sand (or white rice) and place a battery operated candle inside with a picture of the American flag or decorate the outside of jar with red, white and blue stipes.
Make a sheet cake and decorate with fruit to look like a flag.
Make ice cubes with bue hawaiian punch, a red punch and plain ice cubes, and place one of each in glasses of sprite or lemon lime soda.
The ideas are endless and they do not have to break the bank or take a lot of time. I have included some picture ideas for you! But you can find so many more on-line. Happy creating!
