You can use Heat Tape that wraps around your pipes and has a thermostat on it that can be set to go on and off automatically. I used it for my well pipes in an unheated well house.
I would just add that insulation is a really good friend to go with the other information for you Tammy. A good quality one will be worth the extra amount and end up paying you back over and over. Good luck!!
Thanks Linda. I do plan to insulate everything as good as possible with the best possible.
Make sure you keep the pipes running out of the washer as straight as possible out of the shed and then run some insulation around them or..... I run my washer water out into the yard to water trees down in the front of the yard. the pipe runs undergrown where it shows, but under the shed it is open. I have to transfer it to the main system when it gets really cold or they freeze and back up and the washer overflows into the room
Thanks for the tip!
I live in Florida. Apparently as per the Pasco county regulation, no washer machine is permitted due to the hurricane or tornados. Have you already heard something about this ?
